Yesterday, Alt-J played their second show at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. The 6,300 capacity venue housed fans from all across Southern California to witness the alternative dream world the band has created for their summer tour.

Adding Bishop Briggs for the second night at the Shrine Auditorium was such a delight. The powerhouse vocals on the artist as she runs, jumps, and performs her heart out held the crowd enthralled. She’s been killing it on the festival route and crushing it in our hearts.

Alt-J opened with a song off their new album Relaxer, “3ww,” that contains a haunting guitar tone accompanied by bold beats and exceptional harmonies. Kind of makes you feel like you’re driving on the highway. The song also includes a genius line, “I just want to love you in my own language.” Grab us by the heart why don’t ya, Alt-J?

Eventually going into songs off their previous albums, 2014’s This Is All Yours and 2012’s An Awesome Wave, Alt-J performed crowd favorites along with “Tessellate,” “Matilda,” “Fitzpleasure,” and encoring with “Breezeblocks.”

If you are at Outside Lands today be sure to catch their set. If not, you can watch the official Outside Lands 2017 broadcast here. Alt-J is scheduled to perform on channel #2 at 9:10pm PT.
