Homeshake is currently touring in support of their two incredibly funky and relevant albums: 2015’s Midnight Snack, and 2014’s In The Shower. Beloved by many, it’s not surprised Bootleg was filled to the brim with buzzing fans ready to get their Homeshake on. Chill R&B vapor-wave sounds filled the room in Los Angeles as the band made their way on stage. Homeshake’s funky bass lines and moody guitars riffs groove in a way no man could ever ignore, causing everyone with in the vicinity to suddenly develop dad-dance syndrome. It’s very serious. One couldn’t help but bob your head to the mixture of 80s Casio sounding synths, and the concussing jazzy drum beats. As if Peter Sagar and company weren’t cool enough amongst the chill-wave crowd, special guest and ex-band mate Mac DeMarco joined the crowed to watch his friend’s set. Yep, basically heaven on earth.
