Blurry Vision Fest is upon us and we’re excited for the first annual event featuring an amazing mix of indie favorites and international all stars. Check below for our must see sets of the weekend.

Day 1:

The nostalgia queen of all things hip, Clairo, plays Blurry Vision Day 1 and should be one of your biggest highlights of the weekend. She’s documented her joy of Flaming Hot Cheetos with other fest favorites like Cuco in her recent music video, hungout with all the coolest local Californian acts in the game like Inner Wave and Michael Seyer, and has amassed an audience of meme loving teens that know all her lyrics to hits like “Pretty Girl”. She’s the sing along set you can’t miss.

Brockhampton are your new favorite boyband that aren’t actually a boyband. With more members than albums, this group has all the hype of an oncoming freight train with the talent to match. Their set at Coachella was one for the ages, and we’re wondering what kind of immense setup and stage presence they’ll convey for Blurry Vision Fest.

SZA is one of the hottest stars in the game right now, and seeing her in Oakland is going to be a phenomenal event. She’s closing out the festival night one, so expect some potentially huge appearances, stunning singles, and an amazing stage setup if her Coachella appearance is any indication. Her performance will be one for the ages.

Day 2:

Temporex is the number one reason to go to Blurry Vision early on Sunday. His hits with Bane’s World are incredible, and his solo material last year has the young bedroom act poised for stardom. He’s already playing Goldenvoice festivals and he doesn’t even have a label yet, so you know he’s fire.

Rejjie Snow

Rejjie Snow was one of our first shows in Paris, and he’s blown the hell up since then. The dude loves King Krule, collabs and hangs out with some of the coolest cats in the game, and is finally playing some great American festivals like Blurry Vision. Make sure to check him out.

Alina Baraz

R&B princess Alina Baraz released her second EP “The Color Of You” on April 6, 2018 through Mom+Pop Music. “The Color Of You” is Baraz’s last release before her first full length LP which may be out by the end of the year. Some favorites include “Electric” and “Floating” both featuring Khalid and “I Don’t Even Know Why Though” which is accompanied by a stunning music video through VEVO. For those who are fans of Sabrina Claudio, Banks, Willow Smith and dvsn, this girl will be right up your alley! The Ohio native singer has yet to release tour dates for this new era so be sure to catch her set at Blurry Vision in Oakland, CA Sunday, May 13!

NxWorries is duo Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge’s group from Stone’s Throw Records. With a team up like that, you know their set is gonna be out of this world. The band toured with Earl Sweatshirt before their album came out in 2016 and they’ve been playing awesome stops ever since.

I mean, most people cruising the fest are probably going to Migos. You should probably be there too since they close out the entire fest Sunday night.
