Ty Segall just released his newest album earlier this year, and he’s already on fire. Considered to be one of his best albums Ty has ever released, he’s also assembled his famous Freedom Band tour ensemble. The massively talented live touring team consists of notables Mikal Cronin, Charles Moothart, Emmett Kelly from Cairo Gang.

Fans of Ty and his frequent collaborators and tour partners will be incredibly impressed, as the lineup includes sax, keyboards, and an ever changing soundscape that makes his most recent album a standout hit.

His current album promotion saw him hitting up Los Angeles and Late Night shows hard, with appearances on Comedy Central, where he wrote the theme song for The Opposition, a street wide performance on Jimmy Kimmel, and a stunning 3 night set at Teragram.

Ty has been selling out multiple nights at some of the hottest venues in town, and his full band is pulling out all the tricks and hot tracks that have made them famous over the years. The band has a full selection of amazing merch at live shows that fans can’t get enough of, amazing and sometimes local tour posters, and bring all the heat to some of our favorite venues like Teragram, where we had the chance of photographing them on the second night of their 3 sold out shows at the location.

Fans can’t get enough of Ty with an amazingly strong and varied album that some are calling his magnum opus. If Segall’s tremendously prodigious output of excellent material and live touring continues though, let’s be real, Ty’s era is still just getting started.

Make sure not to miss Ty this week, again at The Teragram for Panache’s benefit show, and if you can’t make that, catch him on his huge tour for early-mid 2018 across the world!
